When the Avengers are fighting to save the world, Ultron says "When the dust settles, the only thing left living in this world will be metal." This creator decided to depict his line in a less literal way. ![]() Ultron is depicted as a very serious, disturbed mind with the sole motive to destroy and conquer.Īnd what better way to depict an overly serious character than with a meme mocking one of his most well-known lines. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ultron is the big bad determined to destroy the world and take it over with his robot army. It's funny how such a destructive evil can later be depicted as an overseer, seemingly only there to offer the information needed. In one film he's a despicable leader in the Nazi regime, whereas he's a passive, informative spirit-like entity on another planet in later movies. This meme is a comical depiction of the two portrayals of Red Skull. While he's a formidable foe in Captain America, he is portrayed later on as a passive keeper of the Soul Stone. However, he also appears in the two final installments of the Avengers movies. Red Skull first appears as a villain in Captain America. During that time, fans shouldn't forget the terrible things he endured and what better way to remember them than a hysterical meme. While he is on the side of S.H.I.E.L.D and the Avengers now, he was a forbiddable opponent in Captain America: Civil War. This meme depicts the terrible things Bucky has to endure while he is still a bad guy. Brainwashed, Bucky (AKA The Winter Soldier) is forced to do terrible things, but that also leads to some of the most intense hand-to-hand combat scenes in the MCU. While Alexander Pierce was the real villain in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes was the muscle behind the force. These memes are just some of the great ones dedicated to making fans laugh-out-loud. Whether it's the most lethal of bad guys or the ones that were just there to throw a wrench in the hero's plan, these MCU villains are quite meme-worthy. ![]() There have been dozens of villains throughout the many films within the franchise, but there are some fans who like to make fun of a lot of them. In Usagi Yojimbo: Dragon Bellow Conspiracy #1, a plot as dense as Star Trek IV emerges, in one of Stan Sakai’s best stories. The film utilized canon and cross-pollinate with some other genres, spy thriller, being the most prominent. One of the best movies to come from this series of movies was Star Trek IV: The Undiscovered Country. It’s the sequel movies that came which introduced this universe to generations who were not even born yet when the original TV series aired. In fact, if you watched the first-ever Star Trek movie, hopes for a sequel would be far off based solely on that film’s success. The movies have highlighted why fans have loved each of these casts but also shows why many of these shows’ stories never truly translated to the big screen. Each cast brings its own flavors and also presents its own limitations. People’s History of the Marvel UniverseĪs a fan of the Star Trek movies, I have had many misgivings with the different iterations. ![]()
